National PBS Documentary: You can watch some of PBS' national documentary on Martin Luther HERE. This documentary was developed and filmed by our national church body, the Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod.
Free Book: As part of the Reformation 500 celebration, the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Conference (CELC) prepared "Ninety-Five Theses for the 21st Century". Unlike Luther's 95 theses, these 95 present all of the basic teachings of the Bible confessed in the Lutheran Church. This book will be October's free book during Risen Savior's worship services.
Reformation 500 Worship Series: Our worship during late October and November will focus on the teachings of the Bible that were brought back to the forefront of the Christian church: grace alone, faith alone, Scripture alone, and Christ alone. This worship series will include a special Reformation celebration on Sunday, October 29th at 10:00am.
Sunday Power Hour: Our Sunday Bible class is taking an in-depth look at Luther and the events which shaped the Reformation of the Church. This class will help you to understand the Reformation and the teachings which your faith holds to as a Lutheran Christian. This class is based on the book, "The Life and Faith of Martin Luther". Risen Savior does have some copies available which you can purchase and read along from week to week.
Join us on Sundays at 11:30am for this great "digging-in" opportunity, practical life discussions, and growth in understanding the simple teachings of the Bible...grace alone, faith alone, Scripture alone, Christ alone.
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and correctly handles the word of truth." - 2 Timothy 2:15
